I dunno, I really loved it, easily as good as advertised
Mason turned out to be a bit more of a droopy-eyed philosophical dork than I'd hoped, but hell, 75% of white kids seem to turn out that way
I think Linklater completely nailed it

One thing I never got to do was go to a big live event like Raw or Smackdown or anything like that. Finally living the dream. SOMEONE SCHOOL ME, G...

she's going to get another statue for this. I can't see this happening. She wasn't bad but she wasn't that good either. The clunky dialog wasn't helping anything. I mean, I had problems with most of the dialog but in the grand scheme of things, it wasn't bad enough to matter. I kind of wish it was ...

Patriotism is really good, and a great companion piece to Criterion's release of Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters
Patriotism is one of the cheaper Criterions cause it's a short film. I'm immensely fascinated by Yukio Mishima so maybe I'm on my own in liking it so much

pretty great, I'll probably watch it a second time. I will say Tarantino's cameo was nothing but distracting, shouldve just cast an actual Australian. I love the dude but he just didnt fit, especially trying to act along side Michael Parks. Jonah Hill being in the movie just kinda felt like stunt ca...

original is better but not by much, Miike's needs like 10-15 minutes cut ...I like the change of direction though. And it looks amazing. As one would expect from Miike, the seppuku scene is way more brutal. Not really more graphic, just way more intense it can also get melodramatic as hell this is a...
