All these dudes come out of the woodwork talking about "RIP Baatin" when he hasn't been relevant since Dilla's death, and even then he was a weak link.

That's a pretty radical idea vapo, bout to listen, sounds very intriguing. May I ask why you had to cut Ghost's verse? Chances are it was impossible to get on beat, though I could be very wrong. actualy the whole thing was pretty impossible to get on beat, had to do it bar by bar. every scratch/cut...

more blends, with a bit of a difference this time... this is a 13+ minute continuous freestyle from '96 with Cappadonna, Timbo King and U-God spitting over random breakbeats, blended with some kick ass beats by QDIII, Godfather Don, Rockwilder etc. the original freestyle is from Wild Style Freestyle...

^ not entirely sure about that track... I think it's just tribe's version of the original, with tip and phife rapping on it

- btw I messed up, the track Check The Vibe (remix) is not that at all, it's actually the demo version of The Chase Pt.2 off Midnight Marauders

there's a very short sitar loop used in ATCQ Bonita Applebum that's also used in Fugees version of Killing Me Softly. dunno what it's originally sampled off but I'm sure you know the one I'm referring to. a little 6 note sitar riff

i'd say this only applies to primo circa the late 90's till now. when he started using the same drums one almost every beat and chopping shit up more. his earlier work was much more straight forward sample and break beat kinda shit. yeah, that is true actually... on 'Return Of the Boom Bap'/'Hard 2...

If someone had handed me an instrumental version of 'NY's Finest' and told me to name the producer, I'm not sure I would have been able to put m...
