That HTML shit has really got to your head. Okay, how about this...neither GFK or Sage are even close to being the GOAT, so let's start being realistic and just vote either Rakim or KRS. Have a nice day!

I hear you, but it's not top ten it's GOAT. How can anybody vote LL over Rakim or KRS? I mean that's who it really comes down to. Just like the greatest producer thread, it's all about Primo vs. Pete Rock and the rest are fillers. This is all about Blastmaster vs. The R!

Where's LL? You are at Jason's mercy, remember? LL should be on the list before Ghost, using normal logic. In terms of "greatness" as you usually apply it, Ghost has come nowhere near to the solo artist accomplishments of LL or even a Too $hort or Ice Cube. But it's Jason's list and his favorite gu...

Either way neither of th...

The Greatest Emcee of All-Time (Poll)

Pick from the list who you feel is the greatest emcee of all-time. If your pick isn't on the list, tough. I was only allowed ten names and chances are your pick would not be selected by the majority of us anyways.

You would vote ATCQ over Pete Rock, Prince Paul and DJ Premier? I loved the first 3 Tribe albums, but to say they are the best producers in this history is nuts. Those three I mentioned have the most diverse catalog out of the bunch. If I could have listed 2 more, believe me Tribe would be up there...

I voted for Primo, but honestly on any given day I could have easily done the same for Prince Paul or Rick Rubin.

DJ Quik, Organized Noise, Jay-Dee, Tribe, Timbaland, and the Neptunes all deserve a place on that list. Either we have the dumbest fucks on this board or people just don't understand the point I'm trying to make. We could have had 40 producers who are all very worthy of making that list, but the re...

The first 5 are far beyond superior than DJ Quik. Tthe other five are just fillers. The real question is WHO is the best out of the top 5. No arguement would justify any other producer better than the top 5.

Breakin' Atoms practically paved the way for producers who made beats with chopped horn melodies in the future. Everybody sheds blood for Rza, but what about Large Pro? No love... I don't get it.

yeah, because naturally sales is where it's at. if we went by sales eminem would be the best rapper. so let's keep it the way we had it before. I was just referring to what somebody else put. really the point is Rick Rubin is easily among the top 5 ever for his track record alone. Ya'll eith...

If we voted based on sales Rick Rubin would run circles around all 9 producers. The mans catalog is like no other. True, not all releases may have been "hip-hop" related, but who can forget the early years of "Def Jam," which is shy of amazing. I think Rubin has sold close to a half billion records ...

Madlib was added to the list, but again they only allowed me to pick 10. Kanye is a joke, but there are more Kanye fans on here than Madlib. The bottom line is it doesn't matter if I put Kanye, JayDee, Madlib or Erick Sermon you can't honestly respect yourself and say that any of them are better tha...

For the record, I added ACTQ, Beanuts along with others, but the polls only allow 10 names. I think for the most part, Pete, Primo and Paul would be among the names. I don't think you can honestly say Timberland is a better producer than those guys, so why put him? I still can't get over that the Bo...
