This raw...and raw in a good kind'a way. I think the additional drums to the main sample you chopped are a little strong in in the mix...but hey... send me a wav file of just those extra drums you added and I could find some stand-up basslines to put under them. (hit me up) :) Always enjoy listening...

The vocal sample has been used to death...but maybe that's your way of tipping your cap to beat diggers from way back when.

You have a nice drum beat going...but I lose my head nod due to the filter overload.

Remo pretty much hit it on the head. As a producer you must make your mixes game tight. So tight, that the mastering engineer can't fumble the ball. Honestly, that's why you spend so much time on crafting a track from the bottom up...so when it's time for the final stages...let another set of ears f...

Maybe you're name should be Captain "F" Planit for obvious reasons...'cause that track was "F" 'en great. Well put together as far as song composition, sounds great, mixed well...your flow is right on the money. (don't get someone else on the mic please)

I've been away for awhile...so thanks everybody for taking a listen and thanks Deep Fried Jello for the guitar lick. I'm really kind of getting into the jazz vibe of hip-hop nowadays. To title my music nowdays "hip-hop" is not quite being accurate any longer. I posted this track on the myspace page ...

This track is i-ight I guess.

I like the bassline, but try this trick with it. Blend a thicker bass sound to round out the bottom. I like the notes...just pump up the bottom end with a blend. See if it works. I know this is at the demo stage, you can work on changing things up, taking things out..its your baby...and i like what ...

This is nice sun...I agree with with Street-Legal. More pauses in the drum would help break it up some. I like the minimal keyboard addition...you know what? I hear some blowing instruments in my head...like a horn or a sax solo on top of what you have already. That would give the track another pers...

I try to avoid using guitars and the sax when I make beats. But, sometimes a guitar really fits the vibe and you have to go with it.

I can't play the instrument if that what you're asking.

I did this interview with my man Tucker Burnes who used to be an assistant engineer at Sony Studios located in New York back in 02'. I agree Qwalms. That bass was a tough one to wrap my ears around. In some sound systems it was too thin and not present enough, in other systems it was right in the pocket, in other systems is was a bit too hot. So I gave up on tinkering with it. When deep fried hit me off with his guitar lick, my b...

Wow...this stuff is pretty clean for Dirty Bird! The bass is really coming out sweet in my speakers on all of those tracks you wanted me to check out. Nice low robust basslines and they are not in the way of the kick. That's good dialing in of the ole' ears right there.

Great production values. It's sounds real full in my computer speakers, and these aren't cheap "come with the computer" joints...plus, my sound card is after-market. So good job on the mix so far.

I'm sure the drums will pump a little more with some mastering additions.

I don't know how to break this down...

A little "riders on the storm" by the Doors type keys or that Ray Manzarek influence.
A dash of DJ Muggs classic drum break, with this kind of cool hi-hat percussion addition.

Really at a loss of words...but dope shit.
