For the mere line alone, "I'm notorious I'll crush you like a jelly bean!" Hmmm, a thinly veiled BIG dis 5 years prior ...

Happy Birthday, albeit a few months late. This album was released 20 years ago, I still remember my baseball coach rocking it at practice. Appreciate LL here.

Can I Borrow A Dollar?

Common Sense, just out of FAMU and off the unsigned hype page of the source and into my cassette player in '92. Common used to roll with a crew of heads in Tallahassee called the UAC, which he namedrops on that album quite a bit, it stood for UnAmerican Caravan. The less you know... Appreciate this ...

Shadow: In Tune & On Time DVD.

Finally got around to watching this DVD performance of Shadow in London from the Private Press tour. Being that I saw him on the stop in NYC later on that same tour, and it was one of my favorite shows ever, any genre of music--I thought I'd relive the experience at home, no dice. Emmit definitely ranks higher than Barry, if Sanders wouldv've continued then we'd have an argument. He definitely had the illest moves, but Emmit had the fortitude, and he wasn't exactly a slouch.

My inherent problem with this film is that Gene Wilder OWNS this role. In my mind, I simply cannot picture another Willy Wonka. Are there no scripts for new films in Hollywood?
