I either want just a shirt of Stedy B's mugshot or one of Schooly D circa 1985.

If it was anyone else I wouldn't rock it though.

M.M.O. stands for Money Makin' Operations. Blast is right, extended family of the Wu Tang Clan. They were signed to Protect Ya Neck Records and they were on the promo sampler put out by that company. Now, you said Echo Records. Supreme Court, one of the founding members of Sunz of Man, put out a bun...

One of the grimest shits ever, super tough with some haze and patron. If you don't agree you need to be mouth-fucked by she-males until you go deaf because you're a faggot and you don't deserve to listen to music at all.

MetroWax is a record store in Wisconsin that is having a huge sale. They don't have their own site but they sell shit through MusicStack.com All records are 33% off. I scooped up a bunch of gems this month and since there are a lot of vinyl collectors here I figured I'd share what I got and what kin...

Nothing to do with the topic, but Rivi has an unbelievable likeable factor considering he was a cold-blooded killer. A soft spoken man who never harmed children or woman, you gotta respect that! Well, he did murk that guy's young son by accident. Otherwise, you're right. Sorry to derail, but yeah t...

I have three Kukoo 12-inches and his Insane Psycho Home EP that he did with his brother. The latter has some really quality beats but World isn't that good. Kukoo is average to above average at best but he is very entertaining and his charisma makes him quite listenable.

Voted "Other." Right now I'm all about that Big Shug joint. "Street Champ" is fucking sick. Play It/Leg Breakers is the best 12" of the year, both are anthemic. The chorus for Leg Breakers brings me back to the stick-up days. There are only two songs on the album that I feel are less than "above ave...

Destroyed so many songs. Much like how Ghostface kicked an ill verse on Mystery of Da Chessboxin but got outshined by Masta Killa, MC Ren provided one of the best verses of the 1980s on Straight Out of Compton- but most people will forever be haunted by the sociopathic rhymes that Ice Cube recited t...

Baseball is really like hip hop- a frequently updated column

Meaning that it was a lot better years ago. I am going to use this thread to add player bios from the early days of baseball that prove my point. In an era of flashy home runs and compulsive stat-keeping and milestone watching, too much about the game has been boiled down to systems of measurement. ...
