Re: REUNITED: Non-Phixion
Unfortunately, these dudes are hot garbage live, especially Bill. Is this based off of last night? If not, the strongest element of Non-Phixion when they were together was their live show. Say was you will about their separate parts, but as a unit they perfectly accentuated each other's positives a...

http://www.metalblade.com/insolitude/ New In Solitude album streaming over at Metal Blade. I'm digging the new direction (Kind of a Sisters Of Mercy vibe) and the fact that they pared it down a bit from the last album. No 15 minute, painfully and unnecessarily long songs this time around is definite...

Re: The Metal Thread
Nice write up, DLG. Was an enjoyable read and I'll be giving that Torche a second listen based on your review. I'd agree with lumping the new Nachtmystium into the disappointment category as well. Had high hopes for this one after hearing "I Wait In Hell" and "Borrowed Hope and Broken Dreams" & afte...

Definitely Pacino who hasn't been in anything worth watching since Heat unless we count the unintentional comedy of Devil's Advocate. WO4tIrjBDkk Kept thinking of this as well. Game of Inches speech was amazing and delivered extremely well. Crazy to know that he's still capable of a performance lik...

Actually a lot of pretty solid stuff has come out, including the new Nachtmystium. I just kind of figured people stopped checking this thread. That and it's gotten more difficult to find and post up links to albums ever since the demise of megaupload which seems to have mediafire shook as well.

Chrome Waves is a new band consisting of Jeff Wilson (Ex Nachtmystium, Wolvhammer) Bob Fouts (Ex-Gates of Slumber) and Stavros Giannopolous of The Atlas Moth on vocals. I'm terrible at trying to describe this stuff but seriously if you dig any of the above bands you're gonna love this. Basically sou...

Of course it's The Realness. Some of the best streetraps I've heard delivered with Mega's smooth flow (before it turned lethargic) and probably a top 10 album of the 00's. Classic album with hardhitting bangers, Thun & Kicko, Get Out Of My Way, You Don't Want It, and heartfelt songs where I almost ...
