Re: The Making of Ice Cube’s “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted”

this is incredible, but i think this is a chapter in Brian Coleman's upcoming album that dops next month... i think that i'm gonna hold off until i have received the entire book, the first was a real hip-hop bible haha.. i agree about "Most Wanted" was one of the best albums of all time, truly fanta...

Re: PHD - Non-Album Tracks Compilation

just took a listen and you did a really great job with this, being two true veterans in forming the QB sound, it's a shame they never got more attention... at least Blaq Poet got to make some dope albums on the solo tip (mainlly "Tha Blaqprint" and "Rewind: Deja Screw") plus of course his albums wit...

it's amazing to think how much music M.O.P. really have done... they got like 8 albums on their own, and loads of soundtrack joints, guest features, etc. and they are always DOPE, can always elevate a track... well almost, lol 7vhpBWb6upQ it's interesting how extremely few guest spots Billy Danze ha...

a question for y'all, did you think it was a wise choice for them to drop "Pass The Shovel" and "Freak The Sorceress"

Thanks for sharing. Regarding RZA's verse on Constant Elevation, I like this version less. yeah same here, but still it's very cool to hear a totally different verse from RZA here... this version, "1800 Suicide" (RZA Remix) and "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" w. Craig G was featured on Prince Paul's ...

a serious thank you to Frogman for the upload of the original tape, everything about it fits the description from the "Donuts" book as described above.. it's pretty much untouched except for a few additional songs - like "Workinonit" which alone added a good 3 minutes to the tape. i like how the "D...

Sister Souljah... unknown Pete Rock remix?

Remember Sister Souljah who was down with Public Enemy back around the time of "Apocalypse '91"? not much of a flow to say the least but she had some powerful lyrics and she got some booming ass beats from Eric Sadler and Epitome of Scratch for that one album she did... i noticed on the last single ...

it is a good album no doubt, but to me i think it's the album of theirs i like the least. it's still a 4/5 album but the three others are closer to 5/5 LP:s for me, but theres plenty of bangers on there and it's a good front-to-back listen. i do agree that "Juice" is one of their absolute strongest ...

Re: LL's "14 Shots the Dome" - Soo underrated!

I think I probably would have liked it more with more Marley/K-Def and less QDIII. It does have some joints though. 'Crossroads' is a diabolical message track. I'm a bigger fan of Mr Smith - if you take the best songs from that and combine it with the best songs from that 'Double L Cools Down' boot...

^ you're not missing much when it comes to "Phenomenon", it's a horrible album.. i Think i only listened to it once or twice, and the only song i can remember liking is "4,3,2,1" which is a Classic. there's probably one more good song on there but that album was 100 times worse than "Nastradamus"
