^The other interesting tidbit in that song is that Anttex shouts a Jamel, El-P's first rap handle (JAmie MELine).

^Nice one, Craig. BTW Tone the Butcher was one of dopest unsigned emcees S&B ever put a spotlight on. Here's something I promised WAXMYSTER I'd do last year, and only got around to it now. I merged his portion of the Nov. 18th 1993 show with the Steve B/nobs part. Sorry WAX, hope you're still lurkin...

Yeah it's not up yet, it's on their printed bimonthly calendar. For some reason, sometimes it's way ahead of the site

I know some other movies scheduled are

Stroszek
Woyzzeck
Kaspar Hauser
Signs of Life

The remaining two escape me

Too bad about Shoot First being merely good, was amped to see it. That happens to describe Kidnap Syndicate to a T as well, perfectly aight but nothing in the league of Caliber 9 and Italian Connection.

This was inevitable. I'll be checkin for em. There was a UK monthly (I wanna say in the late 90s) that had a comic strip every issue recalling certain legends like Scott La Rock's murder or the day Crazy Legs was accepted into Zulu Nation, anyone catch that? iirc the artist/writer was a DJ

^Thanks, man. Figured I'd get to it eventually but needed some rah-rah about it to get me motivated, consensus seems to say the restored version's worth a look but lower expectations. This and Junior Bonner (and possibly Osterman) are what's left in my Peckinpah to-do pile.
