Re: Pick your favorite Beatnut track

The album version of "Hellraiser" has always been one of my all-times Beatnuts favorite, but "No Equal" was a close contender.

Was wondering if anybody around here had some Branded Black material, especially their Archeology EP (1999)... Been trying to get my hands on it for a few years already but seems like it's nowhere to be found.

Some of the beats KRS gave her also appeared on his "Strictly For Da Breakdancers" albums. "Levitation" is a pretty solid album front to back, but the label really didn't know what to do with it. It was supposed to drop in '96 first, promo CD's were available, then they pushed the release date to '9...

Maybe he was a transplant from the South or something like that, but judging by his first album (He's throwing up the "W" sign on the back cover, and one of the song...

Yup, and that's mainly due to the fact that "Deuce" was intended to be a Six2 solo LP, but later on D.O.C. changed his mind about it. And I remember reading a few times over the years that Six2 didn't know about it until the album dropped.

Yeah, that's him. He's been answering the same stuff for the last 3 or 4 years, acting as if his shit didn't stink. He's the epitome of what NOT to do if you're an indie artist trying to keep your career afloat.

Exactly. Every single song we heard from them this far was just incredible as far as beats & rapping go, it would be a shame for them not to drop it on CD. Constant Deviants did it 3 times in less than 3 years, and they sold pretty well, so I don't see how it could be a problem for them.

Yo Jaz, there's a typo on the topic's name, it was released in 2001.
And yes, as weird as it may seems, it was a French release.
Dope compilation, Cave Precise was really gifted with the beats.
