Ehhh I just noticed those controllers I posted don't work on 64-bit Windows. Avoid them unless you have 32-bit Windows.

360 wired controllers are the best for modern PC gaming since most new games support the controller natively, but the mushy d-pad isn't very good for retro gaming. You could try getting a pc clone of an SNES or NES controller... http://www.amazon.com/Classic-USB-NES-Controller-PC/dp/B002YVD3KM/ http...

This game is incredible. I like that it's more challenging and requires more strategy than most modern shooters, but it's the graphics that really put it over the top. It is easily the best looking game I've ever played. The story is shit, but it's an improvement over the North Korean nonsense of th...

amazing price for small studio monitors ($80/pair)

Hey, I just noticed an insane price for a pair of Alesis studio monitors on Amazon. Sure they're not best speakers in the world, but $80 for the pair is waaaay lower than it ought to be. Last week I purchased this monitor which at the time was selling for $47 each. It jumped back up to $150 about 2 ...

Yeah Mafia II is not very good. The quality of the demo is not at all indicative of the rest of the game. I'd give it a 6.5. The graphics on the PC are stellar, the voice acting is excellent, it's got great atmosphere, and the shootouts can be really fun at times, but there's too much crap mixed in....

Re: Fixing a Motorolla Droid?

When you have it plugged in, does say that it is charging? When it's plugged in, the display turns on and the Motorola logo appears. There is no battery indicator or anything like that, just the logo. So I guess perhaps it is not charging properly. Any Micro USB charger will not do. It likely needs...

Re: Fixing a Motorolla Droid?

and who finds a droid on a park bench, man up if you stole that shit. It was just sitting there on the bench with no one around, what can I say? I left a note with my email address if anyone came back looking for it. But like I said, the thing isn't working so they might have left it on purpose. Tu...

Fixing a Motorolla Droid?

So I found a Motorola Droid on a park bench yesterday. I think someone left it because it's not working properly, but I was hoping I might be able to fix it. The problem is that when I turn it on, the phone hangs indefinitely on the Motorola logo screen. I booted into system recovery and wiped all t...

^Cracks rarely work if you patch the game. You'll have to download a new crack once it 's released, or revert back to the earlier version.

Mafia II (PC, 360, PS3)

Check out the demo of this, it's really good. The game is gorgeous (and is very smooth on my PC, I'm glad this isn't some lazy port) and it seems to control better than GTA IV. It comes out on the 24th. Anyone else excited for Mafia II? http://www.abload.de/img/mafia22010-08-1010-12-qgft.jpg http://...

I'm interested in a RPG PC game that is single player and free roaming at the same time, much like Oblivion a few years back. I tried Fallout 3 but didn't really like it. Any suggestions? Check out "Stalker: Call of Pripyat" (post-apocalyptic FPS/RPG hybrid. Way better than Fallout 3, IMO) and "Ris...

World of Goo goes without question, but the other games are pretty awesome in their own right. I was extremely addicted to Lugaru about 4 years ago, it's a fantastic beat-em-up. Penumbra Overture is a horror-themed first person adventure. It's not as good as its sequel, Black Plague, but its still o...

Yeah the shooting isn't the best. But then again, considering you're using a bunch of shitty makeshift weapons, I guess it makes sense that they're fairly weak and inaccurate. The human AI seems really good, but fighting demons might be a bit too frantic. I like how this is one of the few survival-h...

Here's a new mixtape featuring some of :phila:'s finest talent. About half the songs have vocals, and the rest are instrumentals. Artists include: Captin Planit, DeffEnders, chump change, dirtybird, Can-U, Tack-Fu, Remo the Great, ardamus, elohim, still illiterate, and The Red Scare. Link: http://ww...
