Nikki D's unreleased 2nd Def Jam album?

During the 1993 Phat Jam pay per view concert, there was an artist profile section. Nikki mentioned her album would be out in September and it featured Chyskillz, Showbiz, Eric Sadler, and Treach. Anyone know why the album got shelved?

Re: DSD:The Coup/Funkdoobiest/Masta Ace Inc./Run-D.M.C.

I bought WHICH DOOBIE U B and DOWN WITH THE KING on vinyl the day they were released. I've got to go with Run DMC. The album's sound was not cohesive since they used so many different producers, but it was their last great album. I hope Arista gives it a deluxe treatment re-release with demos, remix...

Re: 3 hour JS-1 mix - ALL DEMOS/RAERS :0)

I'm assuming it was an unfinished De La track, which Chi Ali heard, liked, and asked De La if he could rework it. The bassline De La used is the same bassline used on Heavy D's You Can't See What I Can See

Thanks to nobs for sharing those demos. In addition to the song Original Author Of Spellbound, there was another song listed on that demo just called Spellbound. Hopefully, nobs will be gracious enough to share that one as well.

Re: 2012-CRDS Presents-EPMD-The Remix Files

Thanks for re-upping this compilation. I had never heard that remix they did for Roger. Track 21 (Crossover white label remix) is also the DJ Shok remix. The difference between the 2 is that the pitch is correct on track 21 and the pitch is faster on track 17.

Why would Sever stand Cube up? I'm sure he regretted that looking back. Cube's thoughts on NIGGAZ4LIFE were interesting. If he...

Thanks guys.

It's hard to believe Marley Marl did this remix: sampling Rick James' Give It To Me Baby? This sounds like something that was OK for the mid 80's, but for the early 90's? It's weak. I understand why it remained just an unreleased white label only.
