Like most Coup albums: Seems like it will be a good time based on reputation and what you think you remember, but it never really works and you just kinda feel like you wasted some time. Very average and mostly annoying album.

Absolutely loved it. Don’t expect some “elevated” genre stuff. It is what it is and it’s damn good. Willis is no Bronson, but it works.

The worst Necro song is a millions times better than the worst Eminem song and they both have a lot of horrible songs. I guess that’s my criteria.

God Level is incredible. Top 3 listening experience of the year. It’s a little long, but I get that. I would start with this album as a jumping off point.

Kenny Beats is on fucking fire. Between this, 777 and Freddie, he’s my producer of the year.

Fingers crossed that Rollins dropped it so he can move to the main event and take down a Lesnar.

I love Ziggler but he badly needs to update his move set. Hopefully they keep him and drew together for a while and don’t rush the split.

I’ll stick with it. Our tastes are usually similar. He just has the same long pause cadences as all of these other guys without any sort of distinction to his voice. Beats are wonderful.

I don’t pay too much attention past WSG/Conway/Benny, but are all these other dudes pretty much eating off of Roc Marciano’s influence too? Not that it’s a bad thing, but it gets repetitive quickly.
