Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

It's football, but it's basically dudes who can't make a practice squad in the NFL.

Christian Hackenberg and Matt Simms are QBing and looks like the rules on hitting QBs are more lax, dudes were getting clobbered.

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

Goff can still be a great QB. Year three is basically nothing. It's basically year two for him since a year with Fisher did more bad than good. McVay had to start from scratch last year with him. There is no way that Gurley was even close to 60 percent. If he was good to go, best believe McVay would...

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

I think his knee is hurt really badly but didn't want to make excuses.

Also, if Ryan Gosling looked any more autistic than he already did, he would look like Goff.

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

would have been a much better game against the Saints. Goff was shook. Dude processes really slowly, only looks good off play action. Was expecting man from the Pats and had no idea where to go with the ball when they showed him zone. Hoodie would have made it tough on Brees too, but Drew wouldn't h...

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

BB and Flores put together an absolute masterpiece, let's not act like they didn't.

Rams OL had no idea where the pressure was coming from and the DBs locked everyone the fuck down.

What do you suggest? Because reviewing no-calls can get out of hand fast.

Maybe have a ref in the booth who can overrule?

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

Hood is God But Mcvay is challenging Brady has always been a glorified game manager then Moss Welker Hernandez Gronk. Edelman is one hell of a player but he's no Molkeronski But don't forget though. No offsides flag and the chiefs win off interception (great fucking heads up play) and in a review h...

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

only way Rams win is if Donald has a Von Miller-esque performance. Everyone knows that pressure up the middle is the best way to beat Brady, the Giants did it twice. It's funny what a game manager Brady is now. Just hands it off and throws 5-yard screens. A further testament to the genius of the hoo...

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

Rivers is a turd in crunch time. All the narratives about him never having help are bullshit. I think he had a top 10 defense at least 8 times over the course of his career. He's just a turd. And it really is all about coaching in the end. Hoodie could literally win with any QB. How is their OL alwa...

no talk of the new black mirror? I think it was a cool idea and very inventive but, man, i didn't really give a shit enough about the episode to sit there and finish it. Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

Chargers maybe had the worst defensive gameplan of all time against the Pats.

Brady just dinked and dunked on that ass all game and the running game went off.

Cowboys and Eagles out tho so it's all good.

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

Colts are going to be really good for a long time. Luck coming into his prime, awesome OL, young, very solid defense, good coaching, tons of money to spend. The playcalling by Seattle last night was the worst shit I've ever seen. Like Bortles is their QB not Wilson. Dude deserves so much better. Cha...

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

I'm with Bengi on the Colts, if they get in, they could be a problem.

No love for the Bears, ric? That defense can wreck a game. Scarier than Baltimore imo.

Houston has had a very easy schedule in terms of the QBs they have faced, don't really think they're that good.

the playoffs are going to be great. all of the best teams have enough weaknesses to make it interesting.

Saints with homefield advantage might be the surest thing.

watching this Georgia - Alabama game.

Giants definitely need to go defense this draft and then sell the farm for Fromm. Dropping dimes all night against the best.

Re: 2018 NFL off-season thread

If the Giants pick in the top 3 they should try to get Bosa and then sell the farm next draft to get either Tua or Fromm.

The lack of pass rush is easily the worst thing about this team.

Anyone but fucking Nick Mullens would have hung 40 on them easily last night with all that time to throw.

Norv Turner waited to turn 90 before opening up his playbook. They are finally getting creative and doing tons of great things to get McCaffrey and Olsen open, love it.
