Re: The Walking Dead - Season 5

not gona lie, that lolipop move is something i wana work into my repertoire, but not in like in a creepy intimidating forceful way, more a playful sexy way that she will enjoy, u know? Yeah I've tried that on a girl, can't really recommend it. Lollipops are too sticky to be put into vaginas. A keba...

It seems like there are better reasons to call Tom Cruise a weirdo than him watching a lot of movies or him repeating himself in late night interviews.

Re: Godzilla reboot

I guess we're doing spoilers now? There's one interesting human in this movie and he doesn't last long. Could they have used a more generic lead character with a more generic name than Ford Brody? They should've used Nicholas Brody instead, have him working with the MUTOs all along. The special effe...

Sausage should've won. Scott fucked up a few tattoos near the end of the competition and it seems the judges were harsher on his final piece than they were on Sausage's.

Also, the fabricated drama throughout the season is awful. It's either getting worse each season or I'm just getting sick of it.

Re: Official Sports Betting Thread

Did anybody bet a bunch of NFL games this year? I reached over 100 bets placed last week for the season. I'm at 61%. I did both against the spread and over/under, but I only made single-game bets. My profit was low because it was my first time betting sports regularly, so I wanted to keep the bets s...

I've been rewatching the series leading up to the finale. Even knowing where it ends up so far, there are so many moments that are insanely tense. Also, I forgot how much I liked Mike despite him being a homicidal maniac.

Thought it was pretty funny. Danny, Jonah and Cera (Hey Chris, does this coke smell funny?) all killed. It had some patches without laughs here and there and the Backstreet Boys dance shit at the end took some of the energy out of the audience (it got almost no reaction besides the cut to Rogen and ...

Re: The Man Of Steel (Directed by Zack Snyder)

I'm surprised at the overwhelming praise. I thought it was a mixed bag. The score was strong, rousing and unsettling when it needed to be. Hans Zimmer is excellent. Russell Crowe made Jor-El possibly the most interesting character in the film. Kevin Costner did a great job of putting forth a lot of ...

It seems they changed their pricing plans. It's now $49.99 for one month, $119.99 for three months or $359.99 for the full 12 months.

Would you be totally lost with the story if you never played any AC game before and just jump right into part 3? I don't know all the plot details, but I know one of the characters you control, Desmond Miles, is a huge part of the overall story starting from the first game through this one. I'm ass...

Just tried this system out at a local Game Stop. The graphics look amazing compared to the regular Wii. The new gamepad was a lot of fun. I don't know about the gamepad's long-term playability, but it's an interesting gimmick. Unfortunately, there was only one game available for demo, Rayman Legends...

Re: The Walking Dead Season 3

I don't understand why people get all bent out of shape about the writing and complain so much about the show. It is a show about zombies that is based off of a comic book. Why do people keep expecting for it to be something that it ain't. Yeah the show doesn't have the best writing and some of the...

It's pretty mediocre. The only good actors on the show are Giancarlo Esposito (easily the best) and Elizabeth Mitchell (but she's been barely used thus far). It was cool seeing Lapidus last week though.

I just counted how many movies I've seen in theaters since 2010. I excluded 3-D movies since MoviePass doesn't cover those, though I do not know if you can use your card and then pay the remaining difference. I counted my total too. For the last 12 months I saw an average of 2.3 movies per month in...

I've read a bunch of Cranston interviews and seen one or two on TV, but he has never been this candid before. Stern brings that out in people. Exactly, he gets people to open up. A lot of them wilt under his weird, persistent endless string of questions. Plus he actually seems to prepare for almost...

haven't listened to stern in years...he's still got it. For pure comedy, I don't think anything beats the Opie & Anthony show when Jim Norton & Anthony (and usually one of the great stand ups that sits in like Burr or Attell) are riffing, but in interviews Stern MURDERS them. Btw, the Esfandiari po...

co-sign the show being better than Dexter. even though, the whole rehab a serial killer bit is entertaining. I got approved also. 24.99 a month but with the one year contract. As much as I would like to do this I don't trust they will be around that long or they will have the movie theaters on board that long. Seems kind of dumb to have the year requirement in a beta. Well, since we live in the same area ...

I'm leaning towards not doing it.

I'm unsure of this one. I own every game in the series and loved part 2 & Brotherhood, but I haven't brought myself to finish Revelations. It's too much of the same formula; it had gotten stale.
