After messing around with hacking the mini NES I actually think the Raspberry Pi offers a superior experience overall. I am glad the hack exists though as it provides an easy way to round out the collection of games already included and add your favorites (or every NES game ever made). I also tried ...

GPD XD - Android handheld gaming device
Looks like this:
Has anyone gamed on one of these? Reviews look pretty solid, although most say the feel of the d-pad and such isn't as good as a 3DS. I've been close to pulling the trigger for a few days but haven't yet.

how do you play virtual boy games without the OG console? Does the design still work if you aren't looking through two separate eye pieces? Yeah, it's basically just flat 2d graphics in red and black with no 3d effect at all. I played the Wario game and other than everything being red, it was fine.

Re: looking for cloud storage with a twist
Another option is the free version of Plex. You would install and run the Plex server on your PC. Then, you could create a Music library and point it to your local music files. Plex server would then index everything and you could access and listen from the mobile Plex app. This method doesn't requi...

Really solid first ep. I dug the balance between old and newer music, remixes, etc. I thought the sound quality was fine (was streaming directly from Soundcloud in the car). One of the problems I see with the Switch is the same problem the Wii and Wii U had - too many peripherals. Just give me a console and a standard controller (or more for couch co-op). I don't want a box/drawer/closet full of Wiimotes, Nunchuks, Classic controllers, Pro Controllers, the Wii U Gamepad...
