That Roots album was a huge part of my life in 96-98, I will be checking this one out. Illadelph Halflife was one of the very few tapes that I lent out back in the day and I never got it back, (along with Ahmad's self-titled album and Fugees Blunted On Reality). I am still salty over that shit.

This post has got me revisiting this album and I must say, it has aged impeccably.

I'm checking this out right now. Despite all of the drama with KRS, Bambaataa and Poppy, I will always be a fan of Kris. He is one of the reasons I even listen to Hip Hop.
