Re: 2013-14 NBA PLAYOFFS

Atlanta in 6?

Indiana and their market is so bad, they're relegated to NBA TV status. Not number one seed material. They'll be playing golf by the weekend.

Re: 2014-15 NBA Off-Season Thread

Anderson's lack of foot speed scares the shit out of me. Don't know if he's going to get entrusted right away to run a team. Really concerned how he would play without the ball the majority of the time. I doubt he's going to intimidate much off the ball. Defensively, he's going to be toast in the le...

Re: Donald Sterling and the Aryan Brotherhood

I feel that. I live in Los Angeles and outside of New York, we have the largest Jewish population in Amerikkka. Other than parents wanting their kids to marry other Jews, I always thought the Jews were down to earth. The curly Q Jews you speak of and the Orthodox Jews, I can't even say I've had a co...

Perhaps Gloss and natty can shed light on this racism shit. Do a lot of old Jews think like Sterling? How about new school, younger Jews? I pass the mic to anybody else who can provide some insight.

Re: Donald Sterling and the Aryan Brotherhood

That's the thing about Clippers fans. A lot of them are transplants from back east that still may love the Celtics, Knicks, Sixers, etc, but need a local NBA outlet and the Clippers become the go-to over the Lakers. The locals that come up loving the Clippers are few and far between. They have an in...

Chane Behanan is a late entrant into the draft too. That's going to go up and smoke like his college career. Hello D-League. Hello Puerto Rico.

Lol. The thread title is a little misguided because we are talking about a Jewish man. Perhaps Sterling is a Nazi too and we just don't know it.

Re: 2014-15 NBA Off-Season Thread

I'm disappointed in Zach La Vine going to the draft from UCLA and Jordan Adams to a lesser extent. La Vine is a tremendous athlete with a load of potential, but he never really put it all together all season and really struggled towards the end of the year. He could have made himself a guaranteed lo...

Re: 2014-15 NBA Off-Season Thread

Nick Johnson should be a first round baller. It's going to be hard to justify him a spot in the first round, but I'm cheering for him nonetheless. He's an undersized 2 with limited point guard skills. He's a great defender and athlete who has improved his offensive skills through the years, but sti...

Wait so Doc Rivers really had no idea dude was racist?I mean that's what his post game comments lead me to believe. No way he wouldn't know. Doc played for the Clippers and he's been in the league for 30+ years. He knew what he was getting into from the jump. Everybody knows the stories and the tra...

Don Sterling thinks he's Rog' Sterling.
This was lightweight controversial when it came out, but you can see the dark twisted humor in it.

Anyway, the Clippers are playing like a bunch of spooks.

What can the league really do tho? Dude was an obvious racist and he still had people willingly work for him. You think Doc Rivers didn't know? Money over morals. I don't expect any consequences or repercussions to come from this event. Clippers fans are still going to blindly support the team and I don't expect any Clippers players or coaches to say shit either. It's a shame too that people are not socially conscious to care.

Good shit, Popabitch. Comparisons are always common, but they are hard to narrow because someone may lack in a certain area to the standard bearer or vice versa. I don't like Gordon at the 3 at all. I agree that he'll have to make his living at the 4. At 6-8/6-9ish, the NBA game now for forwards in ...

Any Aaron Gordon fans out there? I'm not a fan of his game. He's athletic, hustles, and rebounds, but lacks offensive polish. He's going to get a chance to develop because he's going to get drafted high. If he can work on his deficiencies he can be a player in this league. Right now he'll be a chang...

Also, winning the COY award can be a kiss of death. How many of them are looking for work within two years after winning?
