Ugly Kid Joe - 'Menace To Sobriety' :larry: from what I remember every track had the same riff? ownership of a UKJ album is not really a good look in any case, whatever your take. to be fair they were far from the worst of the fall-out 'hair metal' bands though (Enuff'Z'Nuff, Quireboys, Little Ange...

It seems that you prefer every 94-follow up album. you might have a point there, I'm just thinking... I definitely prefer 'Non Fiction' to 'A Wolf In sheep's Clothing'. I think I've listened to A.W.I.S.C about 3 times, ever. Non Fiction got bumped solidly for a month first time I heard it. An...

^ word. I like Lead Pipe , better than Smooth Assassin. all the tracks On S.A. are very slow, almost dull. on Lead Pipe he mixes it up a bit. Reprasent is better than anything off Smooth Assassin. It's probably coming across in this thread like I have retarded taste in hip hop but that's cool...don'...

And back to the Large Pro thing for a second. I'm not trying to derail, I just wanna make a point. It might be personal preference for me. To me, his presence is just awesome. He might have one of the most commanding voices and delivery in hip hop, IMO. . agreed. to be fair I did pick a low point o...

Also, what is meant by underrated needs to be defined here. Do we mean commercially? Or do we mean among people like us? Or what? Because if we mean commercially underrated, then shit, most of what I listened to is underrated. yeah, needs a definition... underrated does not = overlooked. underrated...

I did the whole 'french exchange' thing back in 1988 when I was 11 and MC Solar was a big hit on the radio over there, he was all over the main stations with his crap 'ragga-lite' shit. I even remember thinking it was shit back then, before I even knew what hip-hop was.
