Disagree. It's a sendup of noir set in high school. What's not to get? Works for what it was.

:bunk: gonna be a decent september with that that, looper, and the master saw harold and maude and I like it just a little bit less than being there, which is one of my favorite movies. badlands - martin sheen killed this. worth watching for him alone. plot's a bit convenient. :pedodids: warning, or...

Hank is the only one who hasn't broken bad pretty much, no? even junior was freaking out over bacon. would make total sense for obsession overcome hank after all he has been through. It would also be fitting as being the only way that walter can be stopped

I'm not 100 percent sure about him knowing either, for some reason I think he might? Haven't rewatched any previous seasons. Still, Hank knows that Joe helped whoever was in the RV in S3 which at that point Hank thought might be his Heisenberg. Plus who else would be able to rig up the magnet needed...

Re: Lawless (Dir: John Hillcoat)

This was decent. Started off really really strong when it centered around Hardy's character, but loses a lot of steam when Chia LeBuff starts cutting into screentime. Most of the tension is the result of his character having a "whoopsie" moment. Really violent, and worth it alone to Hardy and Pearce...

Re: Best TV Character

I was just throwin numbers out obviously, maybe 50/50? Either way I wasn't discounting McShane's acting, but at the same time the pull of the character has a LOT to do with how over the top the writing is and Milch's love affair with curse words. If anyone else but Milch wrote the show with the same...

Whedon to write live action Marvel SHIELD series for ABC

ABC has ordered a pilot for S.H.I.E.L.D, a live-action series from The Avengers writer-director Joss Whedon, Marvel TV and ABC Studios. The project is based on Marvel’s peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D (which stands for Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate or Strategic...

'The Welder' was a great experience. The merging of watercolor effects into the regular penciling and the general disarray of thought and speech bubbles gave the whole thing a floaty, dreamlike, lost childhood type vibe. I really love imagery and layouts with water and oceans too, and there was no d...
