I ended up buying this and enjoying the fuck out of it. I've really started to dig pretty much everything I've heard from Deniro Farrar and I think the BSBD beats compliment the fuck out of his flow. It's the best project I've heard from Deniro. Props on this.

I've been locked up for the past month so I haven't really heard anything new from this year but I did get the new Kevin Gates mixtape "The Luca Brasi Story" and have been thoroughly enjoying it so far today.

Wow, that dude CL's verses were incredibly painful to sit through. I wasn't really paying attention to the intros but has he actually battled before? and if he has, has he won any? against non-coma patients?thekeentwo wrote:

Finally saw Slow Southern Steel Saturday night when it premiered in New Orleans. Great vibe at the show and most of the New Orleans bands featured in it were in attendence. Good party night. The film itself was cool and had some cool interviews. My only gripe was that it focused a little bit too mu...

don't get me wrong, I dig avatar's stuff (no homo) but he's been pretty all over the place. His new tape, soviet gooniun is really solid IMO. the only russian member of a gangster disciple set I've ever seen though (deuce 8). the kid is not a fake though in that regard.

I went to school with avatar's older brother. watching that kid grow from sweatpant rocking russian immigrant to 12 year old oldominion affiliate to lil' wayne featuring mixtape rapper to whatever he is now has been pretty hilarious.

Watched it last night. really enjoyed it. christopher waltz killed it as schultz. dicaprio also was awesome. those are all excellent suggestions. When I was taking care of my sisters son we basically played nothing but the lego games and marvel alliance and I had a blast playing both of those as did he. He was between the ages of 8 and 12 when we would do that and now he's 13 and a half and still enjoys th...

The Take w/ Tom Hardy
It's a british gangster show starring Tom Hardy, came out in 09 I guess. Brian Cox is in it as well. Has anyone seen it? if so, is it any good? I saw it at my local dvd shop on sale for like 20 bucks so I'm wondering if I should pick it up.

Not sure about O, Brother, but yeah he was Leary's pop in Rescue Me. He was great in pretty much everything he did. Really surprised to see him referred to as a character actor. He definitely had name recognition, something character actors don't have. Now, Vincent Schiavelli, on the other hand, he...

Oh man, R.I.P. really really liked that guy. Didn't really know a lot of his earlier work but wasn't he in O Brother Where Art Thou and Rescue Me? Every time I saw him in something I thought he was great in it, even if what he was in wasn't the best.
