Re: 3 popular rappers you never liked...

I mean, is not liking future or J cole that strange? I'm more curious about why people would like them in the first place. Despite my intense hatred towards J.Cole, I'll admit he has made some decent beats. Other than that I see no reason why people show any interest in his music. But yeah, once yo...

Re: 3 popular rappers you never liked...

1. J.Cole - Pretentious douchebag and his permanently annoying fuckface makes him the rapper I hate most. 2. Drake - Is he even a rapper? More like a r&b singer. 3. Lil Wayne - Lil Gremlin with boring flow and raps that rarely rhyme. A few months ago I would've said Young Thug as well but he's grown...

Re: Black Hippy thread (Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, etc.)

It reminds me of people comparing FlyLo's last album to Miles Davis and such. Sure he was influenced by Miles and fusion, but his album doesn't sound/feel anything like those records. Isn't Flying Lotus more influenced by (his relatives) Alice and John Coltrane? Like him and artists he likes to wor...

Why was the episode a let down? You think it was because Jimmy did the "right thing" instead keeping all that cash for himself?

The creators of the show once said that they had planned for 5 seasons in total. So maybe the last two seasons will each have 8 episodes like in Breaking Bad.

Star Wars is the only thing in the entertainment biz more milked out than Jay Electronica.

But just like with Star Wars, you can't help but be stoked every time they put out something new.

I agree that this is the best show right now.

So many great things about Banshee, like the awesome characters. There's a graphic novel feel to them. The guy who plays the Philly crime boss they introduced last ep is a Shakespearean actor btw.

Re: "Better Call Saul"

I wonder when the show will flash forward to the events in the intro, where we see Saul working in Nebraska. Will it be at the end of this season already? Because the intro is clearly set after the Breaking Bad finale (Saul even mentions he will end up working at a Cinnabon in Omaha after he decided...

Re: music to torture detainees to

Not only is Eminem the bane of parents everywhere, his music was also among the songs used by the CIA on detainees. Specifically, the CIA reportedly played the song “Real Slim Shady” to detainees for days at a time. The repetitive nature of the chorus, the blue language throughout, and the throwawa...

So they trust those new people just because they showed themselves as a gay couple? Have they aleady forgotten how the leader of Terminus seemed like an innocuous hipster douche at first but later turned out to be a mass-murdering cannibal?

He doesn't sound like Nas at all in this old video. Droog's voice sounds more similar to that Mr.Sicc dude here than with Nas. This is just to prove how ridiculous it is to constantly compare him to Nas, I'm not claiming he's biting anyone in particular.

This new shit's nice. I don't see how he's lyrically similar to Nas. Though his voice and appearance are somewhat similar to a Maori rapper that goes by the name of Mr.Sicc:
