Damn this is the hardest poll you have had yet. I ended up going with Ice Cube because he was greatness and has become average to below average. Yet I wanted to vote for either Meth or Xzibit but Meth never lived up to his potential so did not have that far to fall and Xzibit had two great albums and did not live up to his potential but did not have the catalogue of cube. KRS-1 did not have the sudden drop off just a slow down ward spiral. He reminds me of Mets era Mays.

I think a good idea for a poll would be the mc that never lived up to there potential.

Any other choice but Cube is flat out wrong. Dude went from maybe the greatest ever to a steaming pile of shit. You can't drop any further.

the reason cube wins is because at his best he is far superior to anyone else on that list...thus he had the farthest to fall

The reason I didn't include Q-Tip is because he barely raps these days. I wanted to make it a list of people who have been putting out albums consistently, otherwise guys like Rakim or Kool G would have graced the list as well.

Same way Ice Cube was. Rakim maybe the greatest, but he ain't what he used to be.

Do you really love Cube so much that you won't admit he fell off?

You know, if he made dope commercial records I could deal with it. I wouldn't be happy, but I could deal. The fact is his commercial records suck. I can't think of a decent one. Yeah, he changed his style to fit in with the times, but that doesn't excuse wackness. Not from Ice Cube, I expect more.
