If Ironman wins this tournament off of Wu bias, I call bullshit.

...

Voted Ironman without hesitation. Love that Doom album too though.

I genuinely like doomsday better. I'm not gonna argue about it. I just thought I'd admit it instead of being a pussy about it like two other people already are.

Doomsday is a great lil album, but if you do a song by song comparison, it's an absolute massacre.

not true. phila's take is off the mark as well. it's a classic.

that said, it's not touching ironman, which has been my favorite album for a long ass time.

tough choice but ima take doomsday. if you said vs supreme clientele i mighta switched up. madvillainy vs supreme now that id give to ghost. fucked up tho that it had to go like that, that comparison just aint fair its like puttin cuban linx against liquid swords you just dont do that to a niggy.

huh?

cuban linx and liquid swords are on the same level. maybe ones better than the other one but it isn't anything like madvillany vs. supreme clientele.

madvillany was great because it dropped at a time music was weak. the beats fit perfectly for :doom: , but as great as it is there is no possibly way its even touching supreme clientele which was practically the last flawless album to drop.

you misunderstood cuz what i said was that i would give madvillainy vs clientele to ghost and that would be much easier. i was saying that doomsday vs ironman was a fucking hard on the level of cuban vs liquid. depending on the day and which album i listened to last i would give a different answer. i dont really care that people dont respect doomsday on that level but to me thats one of the best albums ever simple and plain.

this thread two years ago would have looked VERY VERY different....Ironman is a great album but not classic...Ghost's classic album is Supreme Clientele three years ago the overwhelming majority of you were calling Doomsday a hidden hip hop classic up there with the likes of Enter the Wu Tang. In a list of top 10 hip hop albums of all time some of you would have put doomsday in there.... This forum really has turned into "used to love anticon now we jock dipset." Voted Doomsday...
