- they have the same fanbase
- they're touring together
- they wear the same size pants

I had the oppurtunity to chop it up with these cats a few times. They really are "cool kids". I, for one, dig their music. Down to earth cats who do music cause they like it. As far as the tight pants go, that was the dude mikey's steeze. But last time I ran into him he atleast had on some relaxed fit joints. Whatever, I think we spend way too much time annalyzing music and not enough time enjoying. It makes square fucks feel involved. "Oh, did you hear so and so. He's so wack and so and so already came out with that 3000 yrs ago and it was so much better"

I'm definitely digging the songs on their myspace.

Those myspace tracks are hard. Shit is reminiscent of both the Clipse and Camp-Lo, imo. I could probably take a whole album of them over the Clipse, whose voices are a bit jarring to my ear.

OMG

Is this the group that can unite Millenium Fags with crotchety boom-bap dinosaurs rapidly approaching 30?

Say it ain't so!

I'm usually the one who hates on MIA/Kid Sister/etc to the point of self parody/haterism, but I actually don't dislike these guys. Dunno if they could hold my attention for a whole album but they've got my interest.

yup.

I still think they're dope. People care way too much about fanbases and clothes.

Is the interview you did online yet?

Completely true.
However the first few times you hear those guys, you think they're hype. Their novelty is going to run out real soon.
