tough poll. Reggie and Cormega watching the bittie riding her bike eat it on that car vs. classic black and white closeup of Scott LaRock's picture vs. Bushwick chasing kids vs. the fake Eazy vs. Dresta's fat ass chasing the fake Eazy all neutralize themselves.

Went with "What you see is what you get," which obviously was the inspiration for the longs takes in Children of Men.

Youtubes of said videos ought to be posted

and I would have chosen "Who Got the Props" as the Black Moon representation, only for Buckshot's gravity defying air-kick

Geto Boys for me. It may have been low budget compared to many on the list but that shit still scared me.

I would've voted for Redman's "Can't Wait" video over "My Minds Playing Tricks On Me."

"My Minds Playin Tricks on Me"

Xzibit's joint is simultaneously by far the WORST song on the list and the BEST video. (i like all the joints on the list, tho)

Easy decision.

The Bushwick Bill segment in "My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me" alone is better than every other rap video ever.

These other mook rappers just smoke trees but Bushwick Bill actually drops from trees.

Geto Boys is the obvious choice, greatest rap video ever. Should do another poll without it though.

Putting "Mind Playin Tricks On Me" in the same poll with these other videos is unfair.

Its greatness not only transcends rap videos, it transcends music videos altogether. It belongs in the same category as the Sistine Chapel, Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation, Hamlet, The Godfather, and the other landmark achievements of Western civilization.
