the weirdest thing about it was that it was SOME BLACK MEN who gave them that name, and there were other ones in the hat they chose from, other ones that would have given them a MUCH longer career

I remember reading an old rap magazine and they said the name was that black was a state of mind, even back in 1991 people were like what the fuck, Young Black Teenagers?, they are white and have The Bomb Squad making beats for them?...It was a stupid name, but some of their tracks were alright.
