M2C update/appreciation

Post by Philaflava »

http://www.philaflava.com/mp3player/index.htm

I'd say this has been the best few weeks for M2C all summer. From the great Q&A's we've had with Chops and DJ Muggs to The Battle of Beats tournament, the uploading thread to the exclusive Prodigy interview and regular jukebox updates, M2C is hittin' hard right now.

I along with the help of the mods, Random Sample and the great posters of M2C put in a lot of work to make sure we don't make this just another message board. We're standing out right now and I'm proud of that. The amount of work that goes on to maintain this place or create interesting topics, tournaments or interviews is a lot so I am very happy with the rewards so far. Please continue to support and and give yourself some props too for making My Two Cents and Philaflava the dope spot.

Erykah Badu - The Healer (Remix) feat. Pharoahe Monch
:ohsh: If this is that song about hif-hoff over that Chinese Arithmatic-esque beat.

I was hoping GZA would get on this, but Pharoahe Monche is even better.

UPLOAD THAT SHIT HOMIE.

Phila, there was a Kool G Rap song on the jukebox a few months ago that sampled "Eye of the Tiger".

Can you up that shit for me, please?

Thanks for this too. You've done a great job with the jukebox.

You're thinking of Rising Up. It was on his last album and produced by Domingo. I don't have a mp3 of that but based on that info you should be able to find it online.

There is a "Rising Up" on that album, but it isn't the same track you had in the jukebox. Not the same sample either. I downloaded it 3 times to be sure.

What now? I need this song in my life.

New Jersey...

And "Rising Up" didn't sample Eye of the Tiger, so I have no idea what you're talking about, Nacho, but i want to hear that song you're talking about.

The OG version did sample Eye of The Tiger and it didn't make the album due to the sample clearance. Maybe Domingo can up it if sees this thread.
