Besides Jay who can do it now?? 50 can, but I honestly don't think it will happen (TOS) .. I say person who has closest chance besides 50 is santana and I definitely don't see that happening without dipset being on top of the game....

The correct answer to the platinum question is that nobody can right now. Even 50 and Jay need a significant amount of time before they go plat, Nas could go plat over a long enough time period too probably (like 5 years or so). Other than that, somebody new that really captures the attention of the youth (like Wayne and Kanye have) could potentially do that, but there's nobody out right now that has that type of momentum or is even approaching it.
