CRU - Da Dirty Thirty
anyone remember/enjoy this album? pretty solid production and raps. any insight on what happened with these guys?

Yogi, last I heard, was on the production tip. I think he was on G-Dep's album if I'm not mistaken. Don't know what happened to the other cats.

one of my peoples is cool with them, lived down the street from them. Yogi was and might still be producing for puff, i know he had tracks on the 8ball mjg bad boy sh1t, but i aint checked on that type shit in a minute.

the joints with Slick Rick, Ras Kass, and L.O.X were all dope as fuck
I remember getting a promo for the Cru snippet tape with the Cormega joint Dead Man Walking with a copy of the Source backntheday

I remember buying this album. It was the summer before sophomore year of college. I still break this album out every once in a while.

Great album indeed. I think I still know all the words to "Pronto."
Pretty sure Mighty Ha got locked up, that could be the reason for the sabbatical.

That Violator track was terrible, if I remember correctly. Maybe it's good that they disappeared.

I bought this on tape when it first came out just based off the promotion that it had 30 tracks on a tape which was unheard of for me at the time.

If my memory is accurate, the cd-single contained a remix of "Just Another Case" with the "Mona Lisa" drums on it.
