between this, and the jake one joint with posdnous, i've rapped with 2 of my top ten rappers.
and yes, i'm happy with the verse i did.
i wouldn't have sent it otherwise.

Wait you guys have an entire Orphanage album floating around? The only track I've heard from the whole crew is "Hold Mine" from Print's EP a few years ago but that track is great. Aesop dropped a really nice verse if my mind serves me correctly.
I'd like to hear some more material from the whole group, and I'm sure others would too. Don't hide it!

i think it was maybe 11 songs. but they were all 5 minutes plus because we probably weren't regulating our bars like we should been (assumption, i don't really remember).Murph wrote:Wait you guys have an entire Orphanage album floating around? can't release it as a project though.
it's the same song eleven times.
like, here's a title, now go for yours.
verse after verse after verse.
personally, i think everyone involved was so used to doing their solo thing, that when we came as a unit, no one wanted to step on anyone's toes and say, "naw, we should do it like this."
so as far as i know, we are in agreement that any songs that see the light of day need to stand alone, rather than stand next to a bunch of other songs that are pretty much the same song.
print put "hold mine" on his record. i think another one came out on a comp or something. i could be wrong.
needless to say, there are awesome verses on that thing. but no real cohesive songs. just rappers practicing.
buy that?
truth is, i got outshined by everyone, so i bought it and locked it away in prince's vault. it's a purple vault. it's buried beneathe lake minnetonka.
hellbound.
