50 Cent not releasing album until Eminem does

It looks as though 50 Cent will be taking a back seat to Eminem, as the Queens rapper's album will come after his boss'.

50 won't be releasing Before I Self Destruct until Eminem's Relapse hits shelves first.

"Right now I'm on a train, and the Em-choo-choo-car goes first. I think people forgot that I'm actually Eminem's artist because I've had so much success on my own and moved away from it," said 50 in an interview with the Associated Press.

"Because Dre is mixing Em's album, Em will be completed entirely before we get a chance to finish up the pieces that me and Dre did together," he continued.

Previously, Fif implied his album would come first [click to read]. In the meantime, 50's fans can keep themselves busy with the release of his video game, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

I believe 50 knows he'll do much better if Em regenerates an interest in Aftermath first (notice how almost everyone in this thread changed it to an Eminem thread) and then he comes with a follow-up. Nobody is really excited about his new album even with the generated Rick Ross thing and his baiting of Lil Wayne etc so he needs to ride some coattails at this point in his career.
