Your FAVORITE hip-hop tracks.

Post by Philaflava »

Don't get all liberal up in this bitch. Set a parameter and stick with it. 10 tracks that immediately come to mind that you can honestly say on any given day they're super-duper special to you. You don't have to justify the list. Don't worry about the criticism you might receive because after all that is why I do these threads. We all pick shit for sentimental reasons anyways. Pick your 10 and keep it moving buddy.

Also DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE ORDER. Just write 10 and be done with it. And please don't be that art fag who comes in with 10+ tracks or a tie. Learn some discipline you indecisive pansy.

1. Rakim - Know The Ledge
2. Nas - New York State of Mind
3. Ultramagnetic MC's - Raise It Up feat. Godfather Don
4. Gang Starr - Mass Appeal
5. Organized Konfusion - Stress (Remix) feat. Large Professor
6. Main Source - Looking At The Front Door
7. The Artifacts - Wrong Sides of Da Tracks
8.Souls of Mischief - '93 Til Infinity
9.De La Soul - Breakadawn
10. Tragedy - Grand Groove (Remix)

Well you were really hitting your stride at age fifty when "Body Rock" came out, so it makes sense in your case. Many of the rest of us weren't born or were in diapers at the time.

I know we're not supposed to judge in this thread but yankeekid16 is a GIANT FAGGOT!

my list would consist of about 7 wu tang songs and the other 3 would be mobb deep and biggie, so i'm not even going to bother.

I really don't get why Machine Gun Funk was always the consensus favourite Biggie track on here.

I mean, it's good and all, but he has at least 20 better tracks.

Beat, rhymes, all spectacular.

There are other Biggie songs in contention, I could've easily used:

Niggas Bleed, Somebody Gotta Die, 10 Crack Commandments etc...

But Machine Gun Funk is my favorite, I think.
