Great production and Ross is good enough to make this listenable. I liked his last album and if this track is any indication of his next album it should be good.

think he sounds bad on this.
tempo is too fast for him or something

and ne-yo? for real?

i think that "angels" shit was the perfect beat for ross.

this is too crowded

agreed. Glad to see Clark Kent can still get placements like this. Hook worked perfectly, IMO.

if you like your summers soundtracked by a fat dude making music with no artistic merit talking about drugs he hasn't sold then I could see how it would work for you.

I think his music has a summer feel to it.

If you think that all rappers are exactly how they say they are on record, you are a god damn fool. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

of course I dont believe everything rappers say but its more fun to say it about Ross because his fans catch feelings over it (see: every thread about a Rick Ross release in the last 18 months)

My bad. I'm just not trying to fall victim to Step One Da Architect's masterplan to bait all of Ross' fans into his british sex dungeon.

Dont knock the dungeon until you've tried it. There's a burning effigy of Rhianna in the basement and we play nothing but DJ Premier instrumentals 24-7.

Word, and its not like he goes and gets whatever producer thats poppin at that moment. Ross has a GREAT ear for beats.

Album supposed to be featuring Jay-Z too.

something like this.

the dude knows the template. sure. it's easy to follow if you want to bite every cliche in the gangsta rap handbook.

the beat is quite good. the hook is tight. but cmon... this is fantasy crime shit. sure, most rap is... but this is too far from his reality.

don't want to ruin the thread, but man. i still can't believe that so few care about Rick Ross's resume. Dude woulda been forced to retire if we were playing by 1992 rules.

and the crazy thing is, the song is more "catchy" than anything 50 Cent's formula has been able to make lately, so it looks like Ross wins even though 50 is a hundred times more credible as a drug dealer.

rap is outta control
You're in Heaven right now, God.

Rick Ross has some good songs. This is definitely not one of them.

Super High? This is more reminiscent of the end of a bag of mexican dirtweed in a stale philly rolled by a parkinsons sufferer.

Diddy calls the album a classic, comparable to American Gangster, Life After Death...

So 'Life After Death' is not a classic anymore?

'American Gangster' is no less than 4.5 mics...
