No. I don't give a fuck about anyone else's 'come up', I care about hearing good hip hop music and he isn't really the go to guy for that.Escobar305 wrote:So its always Diddy's fault when an artist's career doesn't pan out?? Obviously you must not be familiar with or forgot the CLASSIC projects he's produced...Ready to Die, My Life, Life After Death, American Gangster, etc. the list goes on...So all that "He's not the guy to go to for good hip hop music" is bullshit...
He executve produced Ready To Die, he didn't do the best beats on it.
Anyone who likes hip hop yet champions for sean combs is either a misguided young 'un or a herb who didn't get into this until later on in life. Or only listened to Hot 97 and watched BET or MTV for your fix of rap ish in the mid 90's.
But I guess that's really doing you a disservice by assuming all of that. I know I don't like people that try to throw me into some type of backpack or nerd group, just cause I think the radio plays faggot shit.
Life After death was half dope, and not the half that he was involved in. Far from a classic.

Both B.I.G.'s albums are undisputed classics and Puff was executive producer for both. No way around that. Producing some of the greatest albums of alltime alone warrants respect...you are obviously the misguided one.Verge wrote:He executve produced Ready To Die, he didn't do the best beats on it.

Again, Life After death is hardly an "undisputed classic". I'm disputing that bullshit right now and many/most people agree. It's not a classic. It's half dope, half fuckin garbage.Escobar305 wrote:Both B.I.G.'s albums are undisputed classics and Puff was executive producer for both. No way around that. Your personal hatred for dude is unwarranted. Why you so mad?Verge wrote:Again, Life After death is hardly an "undisputed classic". I'm disputing that bullshit right now and many/most people agree. I had a feeling people would clash in this thread even b4 I clicked the link to open and read it. You can't cover up wrong-doing in hip hop culture with fame, money & popularity, people are bound to speak.

that will not be a great supergroup. to anyone comparing that to the likes of Slaughterhouse or 4HRSMN
they probably won't even release 2 albums. one would be a miracle, and more than enough.
I respect Puff Daddy for the good things he's done, but I won't kiss his ass
