polo has some good beats and I know I may sound like I'm coming out of left field with this but that cover art is laughably bad and this is hands down the gayest logo I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, the Duckdown logo isn't great, but I really dig that Marco Polo cover... I love covers that are drawn, and I think the style on this is great and the fact that all of the things in the picture have some meaning to MP makes is even better...

I love him on Duck Down, I think he's a great fit. My only gripe with this album/comp is that there's no Sean Price feature. But I feel that way about most albums.

This is pretty forgettable for me after a couple of listens... just sounds like throwaway tracks, which I guess is what it is anyway. Marco's still got heat though, and I wish he'd work with some really talented emcees that might give his work some replay value rather than guys like Torae and Ruste Juxx. I'd love to hear a full length or even an EP with just Roc Marciano (or even Masta Ace since "Nostalgia" is by far the best thing Marco's done up to now).

There needs to be a New Jack emoticon for particularly egregious posts like this. Wesley Snipes' grill would do the trick.

Combo is one of those posters that think they're cooler than they really are.

wow, guys are attacking the BCC logo?

fuck outta here wit that bullshit....

this new album is really more of a compilation...it's a dope one nevertheless...Polo is one of the last true NYC, straight up and down boom bap beatmakers out there man...

No way, that album was/is great, every track is dope, everyone bought the goods to the table, I would listen to it again, if you haven't heard it for a while Haitian Jack.

That said, I do prefer Port Authority over this one, but there is some dope shit on this and a question, why does Pumpkinhead only get a vocal and not a full track?

Yeah that's true, Marco said it himself during his promo campaign of Stupendous for the last few months. I'm still waiting to hear the full album, but from what I've heard, I expect it to be worth copping. I've got that Diamond District Who I Be remix in regular rotation.

mad forgettable..couple bangers as MP always got, but his list of mcs is kinda fragile....Torae got a dope voice but spits the exact rap over and over. Ruste Juxx has the same exact issue. i liked the Port Authority and the Ruste Juxx collab more than this joint tho
