Why are indie rappers worshipping Drake?

I can barely tolerate major label queers opining on this Made for Nickelodeon mawfucka as "the greatest thing to happen to rap" since Rakim. Why are the indie cats doing it though? Mac Lethal must be trying out a career in comedy because this is the funniest shit I've read in a minute:

Em is the best selling artist of the last 10 years. In the world. I don't flinch when I read his numbers. This was Drake's first album, and A LOT of people turned on him at the buzzer. So for him to come out and do 500k is pretty impressive.

But he's right about those numbers in this market nowadays. I haven't heard of a rap album debut from new artist pushing up to 500K that quick in a long time.

this surprises people? people think drake is better than Jay Z ever was and biggie and nas for that matter, I have had arguments with people older than me real new york heads about this and have been told Drake is the best ever, people have lost their dicks is my opinion.
