TruSkool Vol. 1 ft. YU, X.O, myself, Enoch, and etc.

Post by ardamus »

This project was completed around 2008 but never got released by the company that was supposed to drop it. But here's a blurb about it:
This is something rare that has finally dropped. Thanx to Enoch for putting this out after a few years of it completion around 2008. A mixtape featuring myself, YU, X.O., Enoch 7th Prophet, Keyote, Shea Butterfly, and Mental Stamina from Rosetta Stoned. Mixed by RBI. Beats by myself, YU, and Theory. A project from the DMV you must hear.

shorth-length project with six tracks on it. i did beats for tracks 2, 4, and 6. and yes, the cover for the mixtape is ugly but i had no words for it when it was done. check it out when you get the chance. this completed around the time a popular hip hop spot in DC, Capital City Records, was coming to a close. the clothing company who put this proect together, ADON Entertainment, brought us altogether to complete this in about a day or two. but the beats were circulated around for a few months. forgot why it never came out, but we didn't hear from those guys for a year two since they were couple who had just gotten married and had some other business to handle. Enoch, luckily, had the DJ sessions even though i wish he had the recorded versions. but, anyways, here it is:

Cool. And R.I.P. to Capitol City Records, that spot really tried hard. I liked them.

why re-up? if no one commented before, it must be irrelevant to the interests of the Philaflav..

Subject: wow!
dude... I was pushing you to see just abusive you were with your powers.

I completely and utterly hate cops. I go to work for a non-for-profit each and every day that focus's on Justice for those attacked by abusive powers. I have nothing but hate for your actions. I know you think this is just a board, and you locked it to be funny. It aint. I was seeing, IF i make a thread that is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY relevant with M2C, there would be NO excuse for you to lock, EXCEPT if you brought your ego to the table, which you did.

You fail.

That was sad, 'cause I kinda had no opinion of you. Now I do.
stop man. if Thun or blastmaster want to lock it, by all means do it. not gonna trip.

thanks for the support COOLEH.

enjoying this man. agree that it woulda been nice not to have the DJ constantly shouting over it and rewinding every verse. but its got a real nice vibe to it nonetheless. ima go check for some of your solo ish...

ps. lol at re-upping after a few hours when its still on the front page (and still catching flack for it)
