Big Boi has never really came with anything even sub-par to me.
And the majority of his stuff is well above par.
And he's done it for a longer period of time than anyone else on the list.
So I had to pick him.
And I haven't even heard the new album yet.
And I'm over 21.

I didn't know we were judging these artists based on the longevity of a good but not great career. Last time I checked, Mark Cuban wasn't content with 9 straight playoff appearances but no rings to show for it. As good as Big Boi's new album is, it can't be compared to the Infamous, Word....Life, or Soul on Ice.

I'm pretty sure the first three outkast albums can, though.

of course they can, but do I really need to mention andre? I'm pretty sure there are few to no people here that would argue that big boi carries those albums. Don't get me wrong, I think big boi is a damn good emcee and integral to those albums. I'm just having a hard time believing that hes better than the rest of the emcees from the list.

Sadat X. Has been for as long as I can remember. I can't make an argument about it. Other MC's got better rhymes, flows better catalog, etc but I don't give a fuck. Voice, style charisma, conscious, smart and gutter..Sadat X got that shit.

Or maybe Finesse or Guru. Those are my favorite 3 of the group anyway.

Everybody (be it by themselves or in a group) on the poll has made a better album that Soul on Ice.
