Kanye Westגs creative output already exceeds all other non-convicted rappers, so it begs the question: When does the Chicago MC find time to do anything else? Like, for example, his label GOOD Music, which is flourishing almost as impressively as his careerגs resurgence. Already the roster includes the likes of Common, John Legend, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Consequence, GLC, Mr Hudson, and CyHi Da Prynce, and recently Pusha T of Clipse was also added to the fold. But West isnגt stopping there, as the hip hop mogul has now convinced the equally acclaimed Mos Def to join GOOD Music.

The revelation comes from this monthגs issue of XXL, which is dedicated entirely to West and his label. In the article גMonster INC.ג, paragraphs are offered on each of the labelגs acts. Mos Defגs reads as the following:

גJust as Kanye returned to his roots to scoop up Common, he recently recruited his buddy Brooklyn rapper/singer/actor Mos Def into the GOOD Music fold. Long regarded as a formidable talent by underground devotees and mainstream fans alike, Mos appeared on גTwo Wordsג (from Kanyeגs 2005 The College Dropout) and גDrunk and Hot Girlsג (from KWגs 2007 Graduation). Since his 1999 solo debut, Black on Both Sides, Mos has increasingly been pushed ג whether by generational choices or self-exile ג to the fringes of indie, alternative hip hop. Lloyd Banks came up to the XXL offices this afternoon as the latest guest on our weekly Wednesday UStream show, Spotlight, and during the engaging interview he spoke on the possibility of he and 50 Cent rival Nas appearing together on one of Kanye Westגs upcoming G.O.O.D. Friday tracks.

Banks said that he was in the studio with our October cover star two nights ago, along with John Legend and Kid Cudi and worked on two cutsגone for The Hunger for More 2 and one for גYeגs upcoming, still unnamed LP. גThe record I had did for Kanye, he was saying he was putting Nas on it, so you may be seeing that in the future,ג The Punchline King told XXLMag.com. Here is a link to both SNL performances. I loved 'Runaway' initially but the song keeps getting better to me. Top 5 collabo of 2010. Hats off to Pusha and Ye, they continue to murk every performance they do.
