holy shit

not for nothing, i like the minimalistic production on marcberg a whole lot, but beat like this, just a bit fuller than marciano's own, fits him REALLY well

was thinking the same thing ... on marcberg he fills in the negative space and his voice floats in and around the music, here you see you music crafted with that movement in mind, which he works against, for a n unexpected kind of flow. Definitely the direction I'd like to see him move towards.

that new roc marciano off "macberg reloaded"

"Scarface Nigga": http://www.sendspace.com/file/v2lc63

i heard he working with alchemist so that will help him with exposure now since fat beats closed and more then likely didn't promote his project to it's full potential.

I do not think the record label folded. I could be wrong.

i did a track with roc recently and he told me he did 3 (maybe 6, i forget) joints with alchemist. he also told me that madlib sent him THREE HUNDRED BEATS. yeah.
also, he went to marco polo's to do a session after he left ours'.

btw the verse he laid down was crazy. "sleeves with dillingers, squeeze at the villagers"

Yeah, that song was produced by "The Purist" who runs this blog:
http://apyrexscholar.blogspot.com/2010/ ... -book.html
In that link he links to the mixtape tracklist but I don't see where to buy it:
http://www.j-loveonline.com/NEWTRACKLIS ... CIANO.html
Being it's JLove, well, I could only pray that he doesn't run his trap over it, but he probably does. If that's the case, I guess a youtube rip may be the better option.
The name of the mixtape is Roc Marciano "Knock Out Blows".
That track may never be on anything "official" due to sample clearance, sadly.

Something dropped into my lap completely out of leftfield today.

Roc Marciano completely produced an EP for the U.K. group The Planets who I didn't think were even still making music. The EP is called the "Planet Roc EP" (GET IT?) Roc guests on a track called "Sound Clash" as well.

Will up in :ethief: if it's not there already.

Here's a track:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gu3hpS7CcxQ?fs ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gu3hpS7CcxQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I don't know if this one is the full version as well but it also appears on J-Love & Meyhem Lauren's Acknowledge the Takeover #21, which you can buy here:
