Mey is really dope, "New York Where Ya At" was one of my faves of 2010, I will have an interview with him at my blog soon and he is going to send me the album, he appreciates his fans too.

Just recently heard 'Queens, Outdoors, Lo-Life.' Shit was dope as hell. Those gritty raw beats that I like with rugged raps. Looking forward to this dude's album for sure.

Glad to see Mey is getting a lot of love over here. He's a chill ass dude and really studies the craft of MCing.

He's with a good camp of true New Yorkers who keep each other sharp as well as grounded.

As they say, real recognizes real.

Oh yeah, Meyhem Lauren is dope, I was just listening to Thirstin Howl The 3rd's "Double Dosage" (Chapter 2) Ft. Meyhem Lauren & J-Love.

One thing about those Lo Life Brooklyn cats is that they hold strong to the street tradition, so they never folded with the music they make or image they put across even throughout the skinny jean, swag obsessed era. Meyhem brings the authentic street element of Brooklyn to today's Hip Hop.

I used to be part of the vintage gear addicts forums, but had to leave. Unfortunately there were certain individuals fighting ready to rip each others heads off over some used gear, arguing like bitches as if they own the entire Polo clothing line instead of Ralph. When your ego is that wrapped up in a material item it's time to re-evaluate life.

Nah. Definitely in the same league, would do better as members of a group.

Bronson's thin voice, derivative styles, and often aimless lyrics wear on my nerves after more than 10 minutes.

Over the right beats, Meyhem's flow, delivery, and lyrics >>>>>>>>>>>. His weakness is that it all falls apart on the wrong beat.

i'm digging what both of them are putting out but bronson has a slight edge to me at the moment for tentatively little by little trying to stretch the very strict bounds of ny traditionalist/throwback rap. he mostly stays away from shamelessly peddling nostalgia and he is willing to fuck around and experiment with different kinds of beats. and he seems to be having a shitload of fun doing it which translates well into the resulting music, the enthusiasm is infectious. plus his food references are 2 levels beyond next level, always a plus.
