For the type of track he's going for, it's pretty good IMO.

like third listen through, this shit is good, not great, but fuck haters

the short but nice sounding double time flow, the 'take the G...ego' shit, the fact he uses the word 'bitch' and talks about fucking, the whole ,even the way he ends the shit to tie in the title, should be cancelled, freeks & geeks

I couldn't tell if he was mocking stuff like Wiz and Drake or trying to ape it while hedging his bets, just in case. Either way, it was a highly disconcerting, which might be fine if the end product sounded even slightly original. But it doesn't.
I've read a lot of your posts and you really disagree with/dislike everything.
That's odd, because there are three posts on the first page of this forum about stuff I like. But maybe you have noticed some trend that I haven't...or maybe I just don't like the stuff that you like...which is an entirely different matter. I don't really care either way.

Not a trend. Just what I observed. I click a random topic and there you are talking negative about something. Just sayin'

And you do care slightly enough to respond back to me passive aggressively.

If you look at what I wrote you will see I am referring to not caring whether your perception of my negativity is based in reality or not.

as far as novelty songs go, >>>

Not entirely clear on if he's thinking of this as falling in that category, though.

Dude, you're one of the most negative people in this forum. As a fairly negative person myself, that's not even a diss but I've seen Cooleh big up way more shit than you.

10 Reasons Why Childish Gambino Is Better Than Drake

10. Because he does Drake better than Drake and doesnג€™t even need auto-tune.
9. Because he has been rapping waaaaaaaaaay longer than he was doing sitcoms (like Drake).
8. Because he dropped his first album in 2008, while Drake dropped his in 2010.
7. Because he you can tell he is very serious about his craft and sincere about his lyrics. He may swag it up, but there is just as much swag as there is self-deprecation going on.
6. Because he knows who Odd Future is and likes them!
5. Because Drake is so damn easy to hate.
4. Because the name Donald Glover doesnג€™t sound a faggy as Aubrey Graham.
3. Because he is the closest weג€™ll ever get to being near Alison Brieג€™s sweater puppies.
2. Because he is a much better actor than Drake. Community > Degrassi all damn day.
1. Because he isnג€™t Canadian.

yo man.... this list is retarded. i won't hate, donald glover has some funny punchlines but he's really awful to listen to. his voice is grating and it sounds like he's rushing through his lines. i listened to drake's album once and while it may suck, it's because he sings a lot and makes songs that only females can enjoy, not because he can't rap. on the few songs where drake actually goes in he's way better than childish gambino.

i get that since he's got a dope tv show glover's gonna be more popular here than that faggoty toronto three-quarters heeb, but don't pretend like he's better at rapping.........it's just not true...........................
1. Nas
2. Drake

that's pretty much it fam.

Re: Freaks And Geeks

Him being a comedic actor I'm not sure if he played a big joke or if he in fact is a big joke or if the joke he's playing is to convince you that he is a big joke. Or if he's really serious.

Why can't he just be serious some times, and then not serious at other times?

Why does he have to be one or the other, NO exceptions?

Finally someone with some fucking common sense. It seems like a lot of ya'll let some weird personal feelings about certain rappers cloud your judgement. You don't have to like the kid but at least be serious.

Not bad at all. A big upgrade over Kanye's version. I didn't know Glover could sing as well. This makes we want to listen the EP, and the Culdesc album real soon.
