Digging this, reminds me of the Check Your Head live drums organ heavy funk shit.

Album out May 3rd

Was is that bad? I remember hearing a few songs that were dope, though their voices are definitely shot.

I liked the last LP. I love this, it's much better than "Too Many Rappers". I'm actually a little surprised by how dope this is.

maybe I was in a different mindstate but I remember thinking it was an absolute abortion of an album. I remember trying to listen to it twice and each time skipping all the way to the end looking for anything listenable.

Wasn't feeling it either. Had go to their back catalogue to remind myself of why I liked them. Especially Ill Communication and Paul's Boutique.

This track sounds better than quite of few of the cuts I remembered on 5 Boroughs.

It was a case of waaaay too little, waaaay too late.

But I still stand by "Check It Out" (and the Just Blaze Remix), "Triple Trouble" and "Right Right Now Now."

But the bad songs were just bad, not full-on abortions like "World Gone Mad" of whatever their anti-Iraq War song was.

Excited about the album. The snippets sound legit. And MCA still has one of the best voices in rap.

Shit sounds cool. It almost sounds though like someone told em, "yo you guys need to bring it back to that OLD SCHOOL STYLE" and they were like, ok, and made this...I dunno, just doesn't sound organic. That's what I liked a lot about Hello Nasty, it was still Beastie doin Beastie but evolving and still dope. New album= new tour though and I'm always down with that. Dude's put on probably one of the best fucking shows I've ever seen!

I wonder if there's still plans to release Part 1.

I always liked this cover art:

Tonight at midnight EST, tune in to MTV 2, mtvU, VH1 or VH1 Classic to watch the full 30 minute version of Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right Revisited." It airs again 3 hours later on Palladia, and uncensored on Comedy Central at 3 AM EST.
If you wanna, check in to the premiere on GetGlue at http://bit.ly/fKmViB and you can unlock a Beastie Boys sticker thingy.

I am trying not to listen to too much of the new album, but what I heard from the two full songs so far, I am kind of pumped for the rest of it.
