"79" - a mix I made of hip-hop from 1979
I'm posting this here as I helped Gloss with his computer a few times and he said that if I wanted to promote a mix on here or whatever in return, I could, so I hope you don't mind me posting this here. I figured it would get more views in here than in TROY.
This is a mix of hip-hop tracks that were all released in 1979, although there may be some debate over the year of release of one or two of these songs. This is a proper mix, not just a compilation of tracks.
Don't expect pristine sound quality throughout!

Thanks for checking it out gents.
I hadn't heard quite a few of these tracks either until I came up with the idea of making this mix.
AFAIK this is actually every hip-hop track released in 1979 with one exception: -
Brandy & Hart ft. Perris DJ - Unbelievable DJ
The only place I could find it was on eBay from a guy in the US who says that only 79 (an appropriate number, haha) copies were ever pressed, but the price was too high to purchase it just for this mix, especially as I've never heard it and it may not even be hip-hop.
