Pick the rapper you ONCE had in your top 5 favorite list
Read the title carefully.
Meth' was once certainly up there as one of my favourites (up until / around 'Tical'), but never really delivered (on a long player tip) like we all hoped, so I definitely stopped checking for as much.
Puba definitely rates up there on the reg, as do Kane, Redman, KRS and Cube. None of those 4 disappoint, as I rarely listen to new music.

Interesting poll. Cube still rates as a top 5 MC of all time for me. I'd say KRS is up there as well based on his BDP and earlier solo work, but as someone said before, his legacy is tarnished by more than a decade of crappy releases.
Ras Kass is one of my personal favorites, but I don't rank him top 5 (or top 10 for that matter), more like a top 25 pick. I really dug Redman but I barely listen to him anymore. He's a strong contender. Raekwon is a current favorite of mine. Still listen to OB4CL and Iron Man a lot but he never was in my top 5. Kane is top 10 for me, and the others are solid but perhaps 'just' top 25 material.
KRS or Redman for me. I'm not sure yet.

Cube put out a dope album in 2006 and still kills it occasionally to this day. That said I would pick my top 5 based on discography but ignoring shitty albums. So KRS is still in there depending on how my nuts hanging.cube is still top 5 and the rest never were
1. Nas
2. Drake
