A lot of people.
k, i'm pretty out of it with hiphop these days
No worries.
I'm currently working on a few projects:
A full length (as well as some EP's) With Illogic
Ep's with both Open Mike Eagle and Billy woods
An album with singer Joanna Erdos, and a few musicians under the group name "The Mighty Jones".
as well as a new solo album on Ninja Tune.

I'm hoping a t least a few of these projects will be out this year in some form..
real talk, The Mighty Jones are dope.

Will look out for most of these projects..

his beats are nice, but your style seem to always give his albums a little more balance.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The albums got a nice balance of different types of beats.
Since you're a part of this communitay I believe it is your duty to #LEAKLEAKLEAK something for your fellow communitay members.

We're in a very early stages. He picked beats and he's writing. But he's also dealing with the release of his new solo joint so it's probably gonna be a minute.

Can we get a precise release date, though (no homo @ "precise release")?

pretty wack and hipstery taking into consideration his long streak of dope artwork.
Looks like ARYZ (semi-famous Barcelona painter) is handling the artwork. Should be awesome. Some of his stuff:

extremely extremely awesome. but ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY HORRIFIC if on some psychotropic drug and naively wandering around at night

2012 rap needs to deeply inhale some of that ol' Aesop crack Rock

As far as stuff that I will enjoy, 2012 is going to be fucking great. I got this KA album, Machete Vision, Gibbs & Madlib, Boy Sand EP was cool, OME is killing these EP's.

Then Metal Clergy coming, Skelethon, Life Is Good, EL-P solo, Killer Mike & El-P, Big Jus, Cult Favorite, HWAM, Schoolboy Q, Rob Sonic, I-Self...and it's still mad early.

The usual much awaited LP's from Despot, Madvillain, Brewin, Jay Elect, EARL or Goodie Mob would be nice but at this point that might just be more icing on the cake.

Unless of course a bunch of those records turn out to be weak but honestly, I am doubtful that that will be the case.

Rob man...I mean, come on, tell us something. If you had to name a something about the record that leaped out at you off the bat, what would it be?

If I had to say it's the overall combination of insane production and his writing, the latter of course has always been there on his records for me, from fast cars on IMHO. He bodies shit flow wise and he just stepped in to a whole new world on his beats, in short it's just a complete record. Not something I've said about a rap record in a long time.

Funny to read this now 'cause last night I was out in a jazzit club in Salzburg/Austria and the guy I was talking with (apparently fro Barcelona) that seemed to be down with your stuff says something like you're not doing much these days but stay more on twitter and www lol Good to know and happy you're all busy with producing. Will pass that on :-)

 reading all over this topic how great None Shall Pass is when most people on this board hated the record when it came out.

Always been my favorite. This is tremendous news for me.. I just hope and pray he didn't became a rockie zombie influenced by his wife so much.

sh*tty.

these dudes need to stop making these low quality vids of samples to songs.

i dont get how they think it helps.

its like if someone was releasing a movie and they put out a half butt trailer shaky video camera.

you're not promoting your sh*t correctly as*holes.

^Now that you've seen the video and posted it for others to see, you're already talking about how you want to hear the real nu-nu. I'd wager its intended effect is working.

I think Aesop is kinda past the point of having to care about how shit is being promoted. He's in that EL-P upper-underground zone where a blurry screenshot of your next album's tracklist will immediately be posted by Pitchfork.

He's probably got Banksy doing the lead video for free on Super 8.

David Lynch shit, you really don't need to care because everyone else already does.
