Beatnuts & Alkaholiks = Liknuts

Post by ScholarWenis »

Hope I'm not late on this!!

(from hiphopdx) The two groups are joining forces for an EP set to drop before Beatnuts release their upcoming album "Planet of the Crates."

The Beatnuts and Tha Alkaholiks have announced their upcoming collaborative EP titled Liknuts. Before they release their upcoming album Planet of the Crates, Beatnuts members Psycho Les and JuJu revealed that their joint EP will hit stores.

ג€œWe got an EP coming with Alkoholiks called Liknuts, so look out for that. Thatג€™s gonna be before The Planet,ג€ Les told Splash! Mag.

I haven't been this excited about a hip hop project since Nick Wiz dropped The Cellar Sounds Volume 2 (okay so that was a month ago)!! I plan on copping this without downloading or listening to any of the tracks online.

This is cool and all, about 15 years late but didn't the Liks officially retire after the last album?

this would work better as a blend tape. no one needs new material. just get the acapellas & instrumentals from both groups' first 2 albums and get to mashing!

Juju sounds like he's about to collapse, and the beat is a joke. Not sure I'll inflict the listening of the whole LP to my ears if it's in the same vein.

I expected nothing good from this at all so I don't think it's that bad. I kinda like the hook and concept on first listen.

Well, this is a perfect example of a video making the song better, if I've ever seen one.
