Censorship, images etc etc....what videos from the past that actually got aired would never see the light of day if they were to be made today? My vote easily is for "Freedom Got An A.K.", i could just see that shit making the news the next day.

Even in the mid to late 90s I noticed MTV seemed to be no longer playing anything mildly controversial (rap only though), and what they did play they blurred the hell out of. The cable stations like The Box were way more open. I was thinking of the NWA Alwayz into Something video the other day, they're going on a mini crime spree in that video, like it's directed by a bootleg Verhoeven.

To be fair, youtube is the dominant medium for the viewing of rap music videos these days, is it not? Therefore there's really nothing that gets censored anymore. Unless you guys watch your music videos on 106 & Park.

I get the point of the thread, but it would've been more appropriate several years ago, when rap music videos still appeared on MTV and BET with some regularity.
