I hate mac miller, but this is ridiculous. I'm sure the $10 mil is a just some crazy figure- since I doubt Mac miller's whole career has GROSSED anywhere near that for the suits. It's about something "bigger than that" or whatever. I know he had a number 1 album selling like 140,000 first week but I don't think it's done more than 300 total. He's not Eminem. I guess he does shows- i don't really follow his career like that- but he's not doing huge business. he should've just paid Finesse the 20 grand or whatever it was actually worth. Maybe he and his people offered to pay something realistic and it was rejected? Who know- just speculation.

It's the pot calling the kettle black.

I don't like Mac and I don't like Finesse either. But Finesse is wrong here. How about he pony's up cash for all the samples that he has used over the years that were never cleared.

I'm supposed to be on hush but lemme speak on this real quick. 1. I made that record and video as nothing more than an 18 year old kid who wanted to rhyme and pay homage, no other intentions. 2. Finesse and I spoke on the phone for an hour after he heard the record and cleared the air. We even planned to work on music together. 3. All I wanted to do is shed light on a generation that inspired me. 5. Finesse never cleared the Oscar Peterson sample on the original record. I did nothing wrong. We spoke on the phone had a good conversation, he was cool with the record. It's all love tho. I ain't even mad at dude. He still a legend. 4. When I heard there was a problem, I reached out to him to try and solve it. No response. Lord Finesse, thank you for what u did for hip hop. Thank you for bringing my favorite rapper into the game.

1. I appreciate Macג€™s kind words but his people did not handle his business correctly.

Fatboy slim asked him before the release and it got cleared by Finesse and the label. it was from a spoken interlude on a Vinyl dogs EP
money was paid etc.
but when the track came out and was a hit Finesse was bitter about it. 1 he said he didnt like the track and how his vocals were used
2 he wanted ore money bcause of the huge success

he failed with all his claims and i think rightfully so although im a big finesse fan.
i hate it to see that people who made a career out of sampling are te first to get bitter about their shit being sampled. im sure not every artist they sampled was happy about the outcome.
but luck to him with this.
Mac Miller is on a major and a major fag so i hope he can milk that

L-O-FUCKING-L at Finesse not bothering to even read the fucking paper he was signing. And he didn't even bother to tell them that he wanted to hear it first? Wow.
